Solar PV Techonology

A photovoltaic cell is a specific semiconductor that converts the visible sunlight into direct current. A number of photovoltaic cells assembled together called a solar panel and a cluster of solar panels make a photovoltaic system. Solar photovoltaic technology transforms sunlight into useful energy by using solar panels. This innovative technology has made a tremendous change worldwide in energy creation sector.

All electronic instruments functions by alternate energy, photovoltaic system makes it possible through the conversion of photon into electrons, which gets from sol arrays. Due to the ever increasing need and shortage of electricity, most people have turned into the Eco-friendly resource and started to replace solar system. This green method doesn’t emit any harmful chemicals to the nature. Since the sunlight is free one can generate enough energy one needs through the installation of proper solar panels. The amount of electricity produced by solar panel is based on the strength of sun rays which gets.

Traditional or first generation solar pv panels are made out of silicon flat plate and more efficient. Second generation thin film panels are made out of amorphous silicon or cadmium trelluloid. Its flexibility and a few diameter thicknesses make it popular and easy to install at any surface. The advanced third generation solar panels use plastic lenses and mirrors to concentrate sunlight into a very small piece of high efficient photovoltaic materials to reduce the surface area and to create more power.

Photovoltaic means transformation of photons into electrons. Quite often solar panels fix on a tracking device which follows the sun and capture maximum sunlight from either side. Tree leaves, snow, dust, bird’s droppings affect the production. Proper cleaning helps to increase 15% more electricity.
